Children’s Learning Center Program

Our curriculum is grounded in established developmental theories and methodologies of early childhood education. We focus on nurturing your child’s growth across a wide range of areas, including language, literacy, mathematics, science, physical development, and creative expression.

Daily Activities

Our daily schedule balances academic, teacher-directed projects with play-based, emergent learning. By fostering a safe and positive environment, we encourage cooperative learning, perseverance, creativity, independence, curiosity, and responsibility. This holistic approach supports each child’s unique developmental journey and instills a lifelong love of learning.

Infant Program

Our infant program offers a nurturing environment where children can make exciting discoveries. Through loving guidance, we provide a rich atmosphere filled with music, colors, movement, and positive encouragement, ensuring infants feel safe and loved.

Toddler Program

In our toddler program, weekly activities focus on sensory exploration, language development, art expression, self-help skills, and listening skills—all within a safe and caring environment.

Two-Year-Old Program

Our twos program strikes a balance between nurturing care and the growing need for structure and independence. With a focus on monthly themes, teachers develop hands-on curricula that promote learning through exploration and discovery.

Three-Year-Old Program

In the three-year-old program, children engage in letter recognition, early writing, pre-reading skills, concrete math, and science. Our classrooms are organized into centers that provide ample opportunities for decision-making and self-help skills in a supportive environment, utilizing a Preschool curriculum.

Pre-Kindergarten Program

Our pre-kindergarten program emphasizes school readiness by introducing specific academic subjects through engaging teacher-led instruction and student participation. We use a comprehensive curriculum that includes phonics, blending, decoding, sight words, and story comprehension. Math and Science concepts are explored with manipulatives and experiments directly related to the curricula. While also integrating music and movement.

Learning Experiences in Each Class

Each class offers a variety of enriching experiences, including:

  • Independence: Developing self-help skills and asserting personal desires
  • Social Development: Encouraging peer interaction, sharing, and respect
  • Fine Motor Coordination: Enhancing cutting skills, pincer grasp, and pencil grip
  • Large Motor Coordination: Fostering balance, body awareness, and movement skills
  • Language & Listening: Expanding vocabulary and conversation skills
  • Reading & Writing: Focusing on letter recognition, phonics, and print concepts
  • Math: Counting, constructing sets, exploring shapes, and writing numerals
  • Music & Movement: Engaging in singing, rhythm, and movement activities
  • Cooking: Practicing measurement, counting, and tasting
  • Science: Exploring environmental changes and using senses to gather information
  • Art: Expressing ideas through drawing and experimenting with colors and materials

Field Trips

Organized field trips align with classroom curricula, and parents are encouraged to join in the experience with their children. – Not offered in our Washington State Children’s Learning Centers.

School-Age Program

Our school-age program provides safe, quality care for children in Transitional Kindergarten through 5th grade. The balance of structured activities, free play, and hands-on exploration creates an enriching after-school experience. Children can participate in arts and crafts, drama, science projects, organized games, homework club, cooking, music, and outdoor fitness activities. – Offered only in our Oregon State locations.
